OOM -- for Jack Benjamin

Dorian's room is of late, late Victorian opulence bordering on Art Nouveau, and encompass in its small space a little bit of everything that a gentleman of leisure might keep in his home.

The walls are papered in deep jewel-toned hues and covered with paintings -- portraits from all times of history, but no landscapes or still lives -- there is a small writing desk, a book-case filled with books bound in linen, silk, or leather, two chaise-longues arranged around a small table that, at this moment, only holds a potted orchid but has enough room for drinks, even a small repast, and a rococo bed in the corner, head and foot curved gently as if to encompass those that will rest, or play, upon it. There is a fire in the fireplace, a view of the greenhouse behind the rich, purple drapes on the window, and chandeliers to light the room.

Dorian holds the door open for Jack with his free hand, and bows. "Welcome to my home away from home."

The sounds Jack makes demonstrate that Dorian is going it exactly right. His fingers wrap around Dorian's hand as he starts to come.

That is when Dorian starts thrusting rapidly, hitting the right spot as fast and hard as he can.

Jack throws back his head, still groaning, his hips moving to Dorian's rhythm, until he collapses onto the chaise lounge.

And Dorian follows quickly after, shouting wildly as he spends inside Jack.

"Oh," Jack breathes, and starts to laugh.

"What is it?" Dorian asks, barely able to speak.

Should this be funny?

[holy_or_broken]

"I feel so good," Jack says, still gasping for breath. "I just feel so good."

"It is the most sublime feeling mankind is capable of," Dorian agrees. "No wonder they shroud it so heavily under commandments and prohibitions -- what if anybody was free to enjoy it at their own will? People would be too happy to fear and toil as they are supposed to, by those that reap the rewards."

"Even more so when it's people who can't procreate," Jack says. A melancholy look passes over his face, and he twists back to kiss Dorian again, to make himself feel better.

Dorian untangles himself, and gets back up onto the chaise longue, extending his hand to Jack as he does.

"Come here," he says. "It is unfair of them, but nothing says we can't take our own back where we can."

Jack climbs into the chaise with Dorian, and props his head on his hand so he can look at Dorian.

"That's why I'm so glad I found this place. I can be myself here."

Dorian pulls him close to kiss him again. "It gives everybody the freedom that our world denies us," he says. "And more. But that freedom is something worth standing up for, ultimately."

Jack kisses him back with a soft, appreciative hum. "I intend to make changes when I'm king," he says quietly.

"What kind of changes?" Dorian asks.

[holy_or_broken]

"So that men like us don't have to hide."

[capture_eternity]

"That is a very great undertaking," Dorian says. "And brave of you."

He leans in to kiss Jack again, leisurely.

Jack kisses him back, holding his face.

"We'll see," he says quietly.

"Your men trust you," Dorian murmurs. "You can work outwards from there."

[holy_or_broken]

"I hope that's a good place to start."

He rubs their noses together. "Mind if I stay a while?"

"Of course I do not mind," Dorian says. "I asked you to come, after all. How about some more wine? And then we might read each other a bit more of this fascinating book."

[holy_or_broken]

"I would love that," says Jack and rises to get their wine.

And Dorian reaches out for the book again.-
